30 International Wedding Photography Awards (2009 - 2011)

It's my 30th International Wedding Photography Awards as of yesterday when I received the news from ISPWP (International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers) in United States for their Spring 2011 competition.

Here's the award winning image under the "Kids Will Be Kids" category. You don't get these types of pictures in any wedding all the time... 

Bridal Trend Magazine (April - Sept 2011) Issue 7

This time round my wedding images was featured in Bridal Trend Magazine (6 pages spread), which is available in your local news stand nationwide (Malaysia & Singapore). The topic of the article is Wedding Diary Plan, compiled by Ellie. The magazine is simply a collectable and great to read as it is full of articles which is extremely helpful for bride & groom-to-be. Henry + Ivy Wedding Reception, Sunway Lagoon Resort Ballroom (Petaling Jaya)

For the past few months I have been extremely busy with all the things that I have been doing (if you know what it is...) and finally I am able to complete the "actual day" wedding albums for my clients. I had also people emailing me asking when I will be updating my web blog again (which I have not actively updated recently). Sorry folks, more wedding images coming up the next 2 weeks.

Last Sunday wedding at Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel Ballroom, my client (Henry + Ivy) had a special guest from Hong Kong. You may check out multiple award winning singer - Justin Lo from WIKIPEDIA on this LINK. Yes he was the special guest singer for the night - specially flown in direct from Hong Kong under the noses from his fans in Malaysia and he literally came out from the backstage without the guests' knowledge. Oh boy! You can check out the last two image when all the guest became "fans" screaming and wanted to shake Justin's hand! I was stuck in between at the corner of the wide stage but I managed to capture what I needed.

Thank God... my vast background of capturing extreme stage conditions such as concert dates back to 1992 (film era) and I managed to capture all the great shots from this wedding reception last Sunday. Magical Moments

Wine toasting is always the highlights of a wedding reception. And YES, I like to get wet! What I did was I was yelling to the groom and say "shoot me with the cork!". The sparkling wine splashes all over me, including my camera but hey, I loved it. See what I got? The "Magical Moments" that I always captured for many many wedding couples for so many years! This image was taken at The Club, Super Tanker Restaurant (Kota Damansara) for Tchen Cheg and Amy Ong's wedding reception.
