It has been weeks since I last posted an update on the wedding photography that I did recently. Work is just too much and there were plenty of datelines to meet. I would like to thank those who engaged me this year as their actual day wedding photographer and I enjoy every minute of it during your wedding day.

This butterfly just came out from its shell (also called as chrysalis/pupa). The bottom right of the image. I saw this next to the water filter of Yuriko's home. No one realized it was there. Wow, pretty isn't it?

Bookings for 2010

"First come first served basis" was one of my favourite tag line but it is true to the dot because it was dis-heartening as quite a few of my prospects who tried to book my services are disappointed as I was booked by others at much earlier date.

There are other hot dates too for traditional chinese wedding so for those who thinks my skills and pricing fits to your expectations, please do book me early. Today is the 7th December 2009 and I am already booked till 18 December 2010 (that's more than 1 year ahead of your big dates) so please do write to me at fotomalaysia@gmail.com. There is no 2 photographer who's of the same skills so folks, do book my services early.

You will be assured that I am your award winning wedding photographer for your big day and I will never put someone else on my behalf. You don't need to be a celebrity to be my client and every wedding I will make sure that every shots I took are award winning shots.

Next year it will be a crucial year for me as I will be flying over to an exotic island for actual day wedding photography with a minimum service charge of USD 3,000 per day and this only apply to European / North America and Middle East client. Final announce will be made at later date so do book my services early should you like me to be your actual day wedding photographer.

Auspicious Date 10.10.2010 or 20101010

There is only once in a lifetime for couples to get registered or married on this auspicious date - October 10, 2010 or it can be written as 201010 / 10102010 or 101010. This morning when I flip over to the local Malaysian chinese newspaper - Sin Chew Jit Poh, there is an article about this auspicious date. It was also announced this year on 9.09.2009 during the mass wedding at the Brickfields Buddhist Temple that next year on this date there will be another mass wedding.

For this date, early booking is advised and the basic package starts from RM 2,888. Yup, another auspicious number! This package is only for Malaysian. Singaporean clients do please refer to me via e-mail at fotomalaysia@gmail.com or william@mwpstudio.com

The greatest moment on any wedding reception is the champagne opening. Did I get wet? Yup, with all the juicy sparkling juice!

Jeremiah + Cheryl Wedding Reception

Recently I was engaged to capture wedding images in difficult situation and those who attended Jeremiah & Cheryl wedding reception on 14 November 2009 would know what I meant. I took the impossible task to capture the most impossible moment and it turned out superbly well. I guess most of you would agree to what I mentioned here and it's not about me holding a camera while having another camera that slings next to my shoulder but it is all about skills & experience. Having won 15 awards in 2009 this year wasn't just by pure luck but I truly believe my passion + my experience overcomes the odds in difficult situation during wedding event. Kok Wei + Sze Ling @ Registrar of Marriage (ROM)

Both Singapore-based Kok Wei & Sze Ling engaged me months ago for their actual wedding day photography and their marriage registration which was held at "Thian Hou Kong" in Kuala Lumpur on 2nd November 2009. Yes... it's also called the Hainan Assocation which I have no idea why it has two names unless it's two in one location. Here are the images that I have taken on their memorable day.

DiGi Music 1st Live in Concert

What I am posting today is way different from what I usually capture. This is a "concert event photography" and for those who have doubts what a wedding photographer can do, well... here it is... check out the images below.

I was the official photographer for this awesome event, the 1st in Malaysia for DiGi Music LIVE concert last Saturday at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. A huge turnout of about 5,000 fans show up at the event with 3 local bands - Disagree, One Buck Short & Pop Shuvit. Then comes the group that the crowd hoping to watch them performing - "The All-American Rejects".

Tyson said... "Hello Malaaayysiaaaaa!"





I think this should be "One Buck Short" lead singer performing on the stage. I thought "wow! this guy is awesome! He sounded like Pearl Jam!"

Guess where am I? On the stage!!!

The crowd is so cool and I'm amazed how hyped all these crowds are!
