Photographer Vs Photographer
I have a good wedding photographer friends from Singapore who told me this: If you have stone and throw towards 10 guys, you will definately "hit" one who owns a DSLR. Well, imagine this, 10 out of 10 guys in Singapore owns a DSLR!
But... does a person who owns a DSLR makes them a professional wedding photographer? In fact, there's many who wants to become a professional! This year itself already a few asked if I can become their mentor and unfortunately I turn them down. My hands already full of jobs and too much I can't handle. I can't train anyone anymore to become a pro because I am not like those bridal studios who picked any tom, dick & harry out from the street and make them a pro just like that.
There are 2 kinds of clients. One who knows what is nice wedding photo and one who doesn't. Which do you belong? If you pick the first one, you may consider my service but if you doesn't know what is a nice picture, then just get any of your friends or relatives to capture your big day for you.
So, it's up for the client to choose who is suitable to become their actual day wedding photographer. At the end of the day, it's the bride & groom's decision that makes the difference.
